Oak wood is not suitable for dishwashing and should be washed in warm soapy water only. It should not be left to soak in water, as this will cause damage to the product and should be dried immediately after washing. It should also not be left in direct sunlight and be stored in a cool dry place.

Oak wood can dry out with use, so occasional application of vegetable oil or food safe wood treatment oil will help to keep the original natural appearance and prolong the life of the product.

Oak wood is a natural material and its colour and grain will vary from product to product. Over a reasonable period of time, depending on the level of usage, you should expect the products surface to show a level of wear and tear due to the nature of the wood.
